Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified K-8 School Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Federal Way, WA area. This full-time contract role involves working with elementary and middle school caseloads to assess, plan, and implement speech therapy services.

You will collaborate with educators and families, attend IEP meetings, and ensure compliant documentation. Washington licensure is required or eligible, with benefits including weekly pay and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
• Washington SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Washington ESA Educator license.
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
