Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a dynamic school-based environment near Port Angeles, WA. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders while collaborating with teachers and families to integrate goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a WA license or eligibility, with pediatric/school experience preferred. The role offers contract flexibility and potential benefits.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP license for the state of Washington or eligibility to obtain.
• Clinical experience within pediatric and school-based settings preferred.
• Competence in developing and implementing therapy for Early Childhood, Kindergarten, Elementary (K-5), Middle (6-8), and High School (9-12) students.
• Adept at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families.
• Strong communication, advocacy, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with communication, language, and speech disorders across Pre-K through high school.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide therapy services in accordance with educational and clinical standards.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate communication goals within classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes to monitor student development.
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multidisciplinary team conferences.
• Adapt therapy techniques and modalities for students diverse developmental needs and backgrounds.
