Sugar Creek Charter School – Main Campus in Charlotte, NC seeks a dedicated K–8 School Nurse to promote student health, safety, and learning. You will provide routine and emergency nursing care, manage medications, develop IHPs, and support immunization compliance within a busy school environment.

The role requires an active NC RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and strong communication and collaboration with families, teachers, and healthcare providers to remove health barriers to attendance

Formación

• Active RN license (NC) with eligibility to practice in North Carolina.
• BLS/CPR certification required or maintained.
• Preferred BSN degree or higher; school nursing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provide routine, preventive, and emergency nursing care to students.
• Administer medications per physician orders and school procedures.
• Develop and monitor individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency action plans.
• Coordinate health screenings and immunization compliance.
• Respond to medical emergencies and train designated staff on protocols.
