Job summary

Dysart Unified School District District Maintenance & Facilities, Surprise, AZ, is seeking a Plant Manager K-8 (RGES) to provide a clean, safe, healthy environment for students and staff. The role oversees facilities, grounds, and equipment maintenance and coordinates with the Principal and Director of Facilities.

Requires at least two years in maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and AZ IVP fingerprint clearance. Position type is full-time with benefits; salary $17.14 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in maintenance, and custodial work.
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Knowledge of safety, project management and record-keeping principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled general maintenance and oversight of facilities, grounds, warehousing and equipment.
• Open and close buildings and secure campuses on time.
• Maintain HVAC system including water treatment, filter replacement, EMS control.
• Schedule maintenance and coordinate with outside contractors.
• Maintain records and logs, including inspections and preventive maintenance.
