• Strong classroom management and activity management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned PE instruction for K–8 students.
• Teach motor skills, fitness concepts, and team-building activities.
• Develop lessons promoting fitness, coordination, and healthy lifestyles.
• Differentiate instruction to meet needs of all students.
• Monitor student progress and set fitness-related goals.
• Participate in weekly professional development and PLCs.
• Collaborate to promote school-wide wellness initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive school culture focused on health and student engagement.
• Communicate with families regarding student participation and progress.
• Support and organize school wellness events.
• Implement PBIS and maintain a safe, inclusive environment during activities.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among students.
