School Summary: Founders Classical Academy Online follows a classical model using Core Knowledge curriculum based in classical liberal arts and sciences with a strong emphasis on civic education.

Position Summary: The teacher will facilitate learning for ResponsiveEd students to foster their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. They will work with parents and students to develop competencies and skills for success in society, providing leadership, motivation, and rigorous education.

Qualifications: Must meet one of the following:

1. Bachelor’s degree with a passing score on an ExCET/TExES Exam in the grade level or content area to be taught.
2. Bachelor’s degree with an academic minor or major (minimum of 18 credit hours) in the core academic subject areas to be taught.
3. Bachelor’s degree and documented successful, relevant work experience in the content area, supported by a professional letter of recommendation.

Preferred Experience: Teaching in a classical school or using classical traditional methods.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Passion for students and content, ability to model and teach virtue, understanding of classical education, classroom management skills, effective communication, organizational skills, and technological literacy.
