Music Teacher

Job Status: Permanent/Full Time

Job Description:

Saint Monica Catholic School is searching for a Music Teacher for grades K-8, and to lead the choir for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. The teacher's responsibilities will include:

1. Plan, develop and implement music curriculum to meet learning goals
2. Maintain the inventory of musical instruments
3. Prepare and arrange instruments in the classroom for students to use
4. Deliver lessons to students on music genres, composers, and learning music
5. Provide instruction in the use of learning the notes for music, create a love for music.
6. Organize the choir for students in grades 5-8 and help them develop their love of singing.

If the position is offered, the candidate will be required to complete the “Protecting God’s Children” training through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Additional information regarding this training can be found here.
