The Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is seeking a passionate Fine Arts Teacher for K-8th grade for the 2026-2027 school year at our Phoenix campus. You will deliver standards-aligned instruction and foster strong literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking through the arts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area.
• Minimum of three years of K–12 teaching experience.
• Pass required background checks including IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned instruction using AMS curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to support varied grade-level performance.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to plan instruction.
• Establish a structured, positive classroom environment.
• Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders.
• Engage families and lead conferences to promote partnerships.
