Job summary

Curriculum Associates is seeking an on-site professional learning specialist in North Alabama to become an expert on its online diagnostic and instruction programs for grades K-8. You will coordinate on-site product training and professional development for teachers and school administrators.

You will tailor workshops to participants' needs, deliver PD on implementing Ready and i-Ready to improve classroom learning, provide data analysis support, and collaborate with the Senior Director of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
At least 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development.
Strong working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grades K-8, or comparable state standards.
Fluency with digital tools including online assessments.
Comfort discussing and applying data with teachers and leaders.
Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to professional development.
Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Must live within 30 miles of the posting area and be open to relocating to North Alabama.
Must have own transportation and valid driver's license.
Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays and various transport modes.

Responsibilities

Become an expert on Curriculum Associates' online diagnostic and instruction program and Common Core product for grades K-8.
Coordinate on-site product training and professional development courses for teachers and school administrators.
Adjust professional development workshops to participants' needs within specified parameters.
Deliver professional development on implementing Ready and i-Ready to improve classroom learning.
Provide tailored on-site support, including lesson planning, pacing support, data analysis, instructional application, and implementation assessment.
Participate in internal professional improvement and development, including observation, feedback, and coaching.
Track and submit detailed training notes and complete assignments on time.
Present a professional image to customers and prospects.
Collaborate with the Senior Director of Professional Learning, sales team, and other Curriculum Associates professionals.
