Job summary

The New Jersey Tutoring Corps Inc seeks a part-time tutor to support K–8 students in math and literacy at the Philadelphia site. You will work in small groups of 1–4, record attendance, prepare digital lessons, and use data to drive instruction while maintaining student privacy.

Responsibilities include engaging scholars, communicating with site leaders, and participating in ongoing coaching and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credits.
• Tutoring or teaching experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of NJ/PA standards is a plus.
• Must have Gmail and Google Suite familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Engage K–8 scholars in math and literacy, 4–6 hours daily.
• Complete daily records, including attendance, digitally.
• Prepare digital lessons and use data to drive instruction.
• Maintain confidentiality of program data and communicate with site leaders.
• Participate in coaching and professional growth.
