Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking an Xplore Instructional Assistant for the Mesa USD 4 Community Education program in Mesa, Arizona. This part-time role supports the Xplore activities for kindergarten through 6th grade, under a lead teacher, delivering developmentally appropriate instructional and recreational experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and experience working with children, with the ability to supervise small groups and communicate effectively

Qualifications

• Experience in working with children.
• Ability to manage small groups of children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Xplore program manager.
• Provide quality instructional and recreational activities.
• Create a nurturing and safe environment for K-6th children.
• Utilize a variety of developmentally appropriate activities for K-6th children.
• Assist with other assigned duties as appropriate to the Xplore program.
