Job summary

Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, Arizona seeks a part-time Xplore Program Manager to oversee before/after school activities for kindergarten through 6th grade in a safe, developmentally appropriate setting.

You will plan age-appropriate programs, supervise staff and volunteers, communicate with parents, maintain records, and ensure adherence to Arizona DHS regulations while coordinating with district administration on scheduling and budgeting.

Qualifications

• High School education and course credit related to childhood recreation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum two years experience working with groups of kindergarten through 6th grade children.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement age appropriate activities for kindergarten through 6th grade children.
• Monitor students and environment to reinforce positive behavior and safety.
• Maintain learning areas and materials.
• Communicate regularly with parents.
• Ensure DHS regulations are followed.
• Oversee instructional aides in performance of duties.
• Regular on-time attendance.
• Perform other duties to support the Mesa Public Schools.
