Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in a K–6 school-based setting in Odessa for a FMLA leave starting in January 2027.

This is a full-time opportunity for an OT who enjoys working in an elementary school environment and collaborating with educators and other related service providers to help students access and participate successfully in their educational programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Delaware OT license or eligibility to obtain.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students.
• New graduate OTs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized OT goals and treatment plans.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services aligned with students' IEPs.
• Address fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, handwriting, sensory processing, and classroom participation.
• Consult with teachers and school staff to support student independence and access to the classroom.
• Adapt materials, equipment, and environments as needed.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes and reports.
