Job summary

Omega Community Development Corporation seeks an ELA/STEM Instructor to provide integrated ELA and STEM instruction to diverse K-6 scholars, combining whole-class teaching, targeted interventions, and data-driven instruction to raise academic performance.

The contracted, part-time role involves collaboration with a team of certified teachers, daily language arts interventions, and data reporting to families and funding teams. Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:00 PM - 4:15 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher is required or preferred.
• Current Certified K-12 Educator is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing English Language Arts and STEM instruction to a class of scholars in grades K-6.
• Keeping track and compiling data of results for funding purposes.
• Meeting regularly with team of certified teachers.
• Ensuring that one-on-one and small group language arts instruction and interventions are available daily to scholars.
• Identifying individual scholar academic needs and skill deficits.
• Reporting academic progress and data to families and full time team.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or higher

Current Certified K-12 Educator Preferred
