Qualifications

• Holds valid teaching license.

Responsibilities

• Delivers STEM‑oriented instruction to K‑5 students through Project‑Based Learning.
• Uses hands‑on, exploratory practices with students.
• Provides makerspace activities where students think through and solve problems.
• Teaches lessons appropriate to the maturity and interests of K‑5 students.
• Sets clear objectives for lessons and communicates them to students.
• Employs varied instructional techniques to reach curriculum goals.
• Assesses student progress and provides reports as required.
• Maintains STEM classroom and robotics programs.
• Keeps a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Participates in professional growth and development.
• Models integration of STEM across curriculum and grades.
• Meets with principal to discuss STEM services and related initiatives.
• Implements best practices for district 1:1 technology initiative.
