A network of public charter schools is seeking a Special Education RISE Co-Teacher to support students with significant cognitive and developmental disabilities. The role involves assisting in education and social development, implementing Individual Education Plans, and ensuring students' active participation. Candidates should have at least 48 college hours and a passion for providing support. Compensation ranges from $16.05 to $23.17 per hour depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with cognitive and/or pervasive developmental disabilities preferred.
• Willingness to pursue a Special Education teaching certification preferred.
• Capable of physically assisting students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational and social development of students.
• Implement Individual Education Plans for students and monitor progress.
• Support students with emotional or behavior concerns.
