Qualifications

• At least 48 college hours required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with children with cognitive and/or pervasive developmental disabilities preferred.
• Willingness to pursue Special Education teaching certification.

Responsabilités

• Assist in educational and social development of students under supervision.
• Support implementation of Individual Education Plans and monitor progress.
• Provide support to individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable participation.
• Collaborate with professionals (speech therapist, social worker, OT/PT).
• Maintain student records with classroom teachers.
