Job summary

Movement Schools in Charlotte, NC seeks a passionate K-5 Multilingual Learner Teacher to accelerate language and content learning while honoring scholars' languages and cultures. You will design and deliver standards-aligned ELD instruction, build language objectives, and collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate language support across the school day.

As a member of a mission-driven network, you will also support school-wide operations, family engagement, and professional development,

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in education or related field.
• Valid ESL/ESOL licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Knowledge of WIDA standards and multilingual learner supports.
• Commitment to equity and scholar growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned English language development instruction.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate language supports.
• Administer and analyze language proficiency data for instruction.
• Support family communications in home languages and school events.
• Assist with program compliance and coordination with ML leadership.

Bilingual/multilingual (Spanish pref.)

Bachelor's degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, English, or related field
