Job summary

Madeline English School in Everett, MA, seeks an experienced Grades K-5 Instructional Coach to support general education, special education, and ESL teachers in math, ELA, science, and social studies. You will strengthen Tier 1 instruction through differentiated coaching plans and data-driven cycles using HQIM.

Responsibilities include analyzing assessment data, modeling differentiated instruction, co-teaching, and delivering workshops on EL differentiation.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Teacher certification.
• Five years of teaching experience with strong evidence of exemplary Tier 1 instructional practices.
• Experience providing professional development to teachers on a variety of topics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administrators.
• Demonstrate commitment to excellence, equity, and high expectations for all students.

Responsibilities

• Meet with principals, curriculum leaders, and teachers to analyze MCAS, ACCESS, DIBELS, i-Ready data to identify instructional improvements.
• Model differentiated instruction and strategic planning for HQIM implementation district-wide.
• Model lessons and co-teach to develop higher-order thinking and academic discourse.
• Conduct observation/feedback cycles to improve Tier I instruction and lesson planning.
• Provide professional development to differentiate for EL subgroups (SLIFE, Long-Term English Learners).
• Consult with teachers to scaffold high-leverage instructional practices and language objectives using WIDA Frameworks.
• Support cross-school coordination of shared resources and HQIM coaching.
