Job summary

Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde in Grand Ronde, OR seeks a Youth Education Coach to support Native American students in grades K-5 through tutoring and academic coaching. The role will design and deliver targeted instructional supports within the Youth Education Program.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Oregon teaching license (K-5 preferred). Collaboration with families, teachers and tribal staff is expected, with on-site work and occasional local travel.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and valid teacher’s license as recognized by the Oregon Dept. of Education.
• Preference for certification in grades K-5; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Must maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license and provide proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and scheduling academic coaching sessions for K-5 Native American students.
• Designing and delivering culturally based instructional supports within YEP.
• Attending meetings and reporting progress to families and YED team.
• Maintaining student files and monitoring progress and attendance.
• Collaborating with families, teachers, and tribal staff to support student success.
