Job summary

Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde invites applications for a College Intern-Aide in Early Childhood Education. This on-site role supports staff in classrooms, on the playground and during field trips, with duties assigned by a supervisor.

Starting wage is $16.00 to $18.26 per hour. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or university, have a high school diploma or GED, and be prepared to obtain First Aid/CPR, Food Handler, TB/Hep B vaccinations, and a valid Oregon driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months experience in a preschool or childcare setting preferred.
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Works with staff in classroom, on playground and in field trip supervision.
• Assists in keeping classroom facilities clean.
• Replenishes materials and supplies for classroom activities.
• Performs a variety of other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Assists in coordinating activities with cook and other staff.
