Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalency, and prior childcare experience desired.
• Will obtain Oregon Registry Online registration prior to hire.
• TB and Hep B vaccinations and a physical every three years may be required.
• First Aid certification required.
• Food handler’s card required.
• Knowledge of and sensitivity to Native American culture required. Native American employees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with staff in the classroom, on the playground, and in field trip supervision during the aftercare programming from 2:15-5:15pm.
• Assists in keeping classroom facilities.
• Replenishes materials and supplies for classroom.
• Assists staff in preparing and crafting activities.
• Enforces bus rules and maintains safety during loading/unloading.
