Job summary

Kasson-Mantorville Schools is seeking a caring, flexible K–4 Special Education Paraprofessional to support elementary students with disabilities across various educational settings.

Under licensed staff, you will help students access instruction, participate in classroom and school activities, develop independence, and make meaningful progress toward their educational goals in an inclusive environment where students with IEPs are learners first.

Qualifications

• 64 post secondary credits required.
• Passing score on the Para Pro assessment required.
• Passing score of ParaPathways 332 required.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Special Education Paraprofessional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support K–4 students with academic, behavioral, social, and personal care needs.
• Provide individual and small-group instructional support under licensed staff.
• Implement IEP accommodations and behavioral supports as directed.
• Assist in general education settings while promoting participation and independence.
• Observe, collect, and document student performance and behavioral data.
