Job summary

Albuquerque School of Excellence is seeking a Special Education Teacher for Grades K-4 at the New ASE West location in Albuquerque, NM. Qualifications

• Knowledge of Special Education principles, theories, testing, methods.
• Ability to implement IEPs and behavior plans.
• Familiarity with data systems for tracking student progress.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments and diagnostic examinations to identify learning issues.
• Participates in developing and implementing IEPs.
• Supports students and staff in implementing IEPs and behavior plans.
• Coordinates with outside agencies and administrators as needed.
• Maintains accurate student records and communicates with parents.
