Job summary

Qualifications

• Required Mississippi Educator License with ESL endorsement or eligibility for certification through alternative route.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency required (Spanish).
• Knowledge of ELL compliance requirements.
• Strong classroom management skills in a structured, high-expectations environment.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented school culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and differentiate ESL instruction aligned to Mississippi standards.
• Provide pull-out and push-in ESL services across K–4.
• Integrate STEM-aligned language learning activities with SR1 CPSA’s philosophy.
• Develop individualized language learning plans (LLPs) for each ELL student.
• Use research-based, culturally responsive strategies to support language development.
• Adapt materials and assessments to meet ELL levels across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
