Job summary

Collegium Charter School in Exton, PA seeks a full-time Emotional Support teacher for K-4 supplemental services. Reports to the Principal and supervises instructional staff.

The role supports students' social-emotional development and collaborates with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and instruction. The position is a long-term substitute, salaried and exempt, with responsibilities including planning, parent meetings, and ensuring compliance with school codes.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree and PA Special Education (PK-8) certification.
• Demonstrated competence teaching with a record of impacting student achievement.
• Ability to set priorities and adapt to change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional strategies to facilitate inclusion.
• Determine student progress by collecting and monitoring data.
• Coordinate and facilitate parent meetings.
• Understand and implement empirically supported behavioral interventions.
• Establish instructional/learning environment to reinforce student behavior.
• Develop and adapt instructional activities to meet IEP goals.
