Qualifications

• Four-year degree and PA Special Education PK-12 certification; if out-of-state, PA certification within required time.
• Proven ability to support social-emotional learning and adapt instruction for diverse learners.
• Experience with IEPs and behavior intervention plans in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with inclusive instructional strategies and adapt lessons for inclusion.
• Collect and monitor data to determine student progress.
• Coordinate and facilitate parent meetings.
• Understand and implement empirically supported behavioral interventions.
• Establish a strong instructional environment reinforcing positive behavior.
• Develop and adapt activities to meet individual IEP goals.
• Submit timely reports aligned with IEP review meetings.
• Uphold the CCS Student Code of Conduct, Uniform Code, and Computer Usage Code.
