Collegium Charter School seeks a dedicated Teacher, Emotional Support for the High School (Grades 9-12) in Exton, PA. The role reports to the Principal and supports inclusion through collaboration with teachers and the instructional assistant.

The position is a full-time, long-term substitute role requiring PA Special Education PK-12 Certification. Expect data-driven progress, IEP alignment, and strict confidentiality in a dynamic school setting.

Formación

• Four-year college degree required
• PA Special Education (PK-12) Teacher Certification required; PA certification must be obtained if from another state within the specified time frame
• Proven ability to improve student achievement
• Experience with differentiated instruction based on learning styles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional strategies to facilitate inclusion
• Determine student progress by collecting and monitoring data
• Coordinate and facilitate parent meetings
• Implement empirically supported behavioral interventions
• Establish a productive instructional environment and reinforce positive behavior
• Develop and adapt instructional activities to meet IEP goals
• Submit timely reports for IEP reviews
• Enforce the CCS Student Code of Conduct and related policies
• Model good citizenship and professional conduct
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and records
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
