Job summary

Christopher Columbus Charter School is seeking a full-time Elementary Behavior Support Interventionist (RBT) for Grades K-4 for the 2026-2027 school year. School hours are 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, 10-month position with pay spread over 12 months.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree preferred, with 3-5 years experience in lieu of degree. Certification such as RBT/BCBA/BCaBA is preferred; FBI/PA clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university preferred; minimum 3-5 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Special Education, RBT, BCBA, or BCaBA certification preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in an educational or therapeutic setting.
• Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies, positive behavior support techniques, and crisis prevention/intervention protocols.
• Current and acceptable FBI, PA Criminal, and PA Child Abuse clearances.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students with diverse needs.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of students and the program.

Responsibilities

• Work with Grades K-4 students to implement behavior support interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student outcomes.
• Maintain student progress data and document behavior supports.
• Respond to safety and crisis prevention/intervention needs as they arise.
