Job summary

Alpha School is hiring for a Youth Development Manager to coach Guides and students across K-3 using data-driven coaching methods. You will work in classrooms, deliver workshops, and build scalable coaching playbooks to elevate student and Guide performance.

You will lead coaching sessions, mentor Guides, and help shape Alpha's coaching culture while maintaining high expectations and measurable outcomes. This is a hands-on, in-school role with relocation support if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with elementary-aged children.
• Experience leading teams of five or more people.
• Proven track record using data to improve performance.
• Strong storytelling and facilitation skills with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data and observations to achieve improvements.
• Deliver workshops on communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, and focus for K-3 students.
• Lead one-on-one and small-group coaching linking motivation to growth.
• Build and refine repeatable coaching playbooks for the Guides.
• Mentor Guides and demonstrate exceptional coaching daily.
