Job summary

Alpha is redefining education by placing coaching and data-driven growth at the center of learning. The Youth Development Manager will lead a cohort of K-3 Guides and students, using performance data and direct feedback to drive measurable improvements.

You will build scalable coaching playbooks, mentor Guides, and deliver workshops to develop essential life skills. This role is in-person at Alpha campuses in New York City or Miami, with relocation support provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience working with elementary-aged children.
• Experience leading teams of five or more people.
• Experience building or growing a program or initiative.
• Demonstrated success using data to improve team or student performance.
• Ability to coach adults with clear expectations and direct feedback.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data and observations to achieve improvements.
• Facilitate workshops for K-3 students focusing on communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, focus.
• Lead one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions linking motivation to growth and independence.
• Build and refine coaching playbooks to raise performance across the Guide team.
• Train and mentor Guides while modeling strong coaching and facilitation daily.
