Farr West Elementary is seeking a Literacy Aide to provide targeted reading interventions for K-3 students, aligning with the Science of Reading. The role supports teachers, maintains reading plans, and assists with data-driven instruction at the Farr West campus.

The ideal candidate will implement evidence-based strategies, work closely with staff, and participate in ongoing training to ensure adherence to district Reading programs and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Lead evidence-based reading interventions for K-3 students.
• Collaborate with teachers and literacy coach to implement plans.
• Monitor progress and maintain individualized reading plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead reading interventions aligned with the Science of Reading.
• Work with teachers to ensure fidelity of interventions.
• Assist with literacy building activities and strategies.
• Help develop aide schedules with administrators.
• Participate in ongoing Science of Reading training.
• Collaborate with teachers to review student progress and plans.
• Communicate instructional plans and schedules district-wide.
