Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Gretna, LA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a K-3 school setting. The contract role includes on-site supervision for CFs and collaboration with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assessments, developing treatment plans, direct therapy with young children, IEP participation, and accurate documentation; supervision is available on-site to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• ASHA CCC or CFY eligibility.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana.
• Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations (K-3).
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and direct therapy with young children.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and screenings to identify students’ speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs.
• Delivering therapy services to students in a K-3 school environment, both individually and in small groups.
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating closely with educators and families.
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation of student progress and services rendered.
• Staying current with best practices and continuing education in the field.
