Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps seeks a dedicated Math Tutor to work in local schools, providing focused 20–30 minute tutoring sessions to groups of up to three students. Training is provided to deliver proven activities and coaching throughout the program.

Responsibilities include leading sessions, tracking progress, and coordinating with on-site coaches. Part-time options at 25 or 18 hours per week are available, with the program running fall through spring in the 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications

Dependable with a history of good attendance.
Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online).
Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
18 years of age or older with a highschool diploma or equivalent.
A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

Be a caring adult who's focused on helping children thrive.
Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software.
Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
Share your experience with the community.
