Job summary

Alpha hires guides (teachers) for K-3, focusing on life skills, coaching, and motivation rather than traditional instruction. This role is on-site at multiple campuses across the U.S., with a full-time schedule and a strong emphasis on measurable outcomes. Relocation assistance is available.

You will lead workshops, coach students one-on-one and in small groups, using analytics to track progress and help children believe they can achieve more than they thought possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• Experience working with children aged 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, or youth programs.
• Ability to motivate children to achieve challenging goals with concrete examples.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging life-skills workshops for K-3 students to master communication and focus.
• Coach students one-on-one and in small groups to keep them on track for weekly goals.
• Assess mastery using Alpha's Test2Pass framework and adapt coaching styles as needed.
• Engage through songs, movement, and storytelling to suit developmental needs.
• Build supportive relationships that encourage striving beyond initial limits.
