Job summary

Alpha hires guides to coach K-3 students through a blended program combining life-skills workshops and individualized coaching. You’ll work on-site at one of Alpha's campuses across the US, leading energetic workshops and guiding students toward ambitious weekly goals.

The role centers on motivating young learners, using adaptive analytics, and building relationships that empower students to believe in themselves and achieve more than they thought possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with children ages 4-9 through teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or similar environments.
• Experience leading group activities for young children with structured routines.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging life-skills workshops that help K-3 students master communication, focus, feedback, and other durable skills.
• Coach students one-on-one and in small groups, using Coachbot analytics and strong relationships to keep learners on track for weekly goals.
• Assess life-skill mastery through Alpha's Test2Pass framework and coach students until they demonstrate real understanding.
• Adapt coaching style to developmental needs of the cohort with varied activities to maintain engagement.
• Build relationships that support students to stretch beyond what they thought possible.
