Job summary

Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE licensure for PreK-8 Music (Initial, Professional, or Temporary).
• SEI Endorsement (held or willing to obtain as a condition of employment).
• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a standards-based general music curriculum aligned with the Massachusetts Arts Curriculum Framework.
• Provide music instruction to elementary students through singing, movement, instruments, music literacy, and appreciation.
• Plan and lead musical performances and school-wide events.
