Job summary

Topaz HR is seeking a Full-Time SPED Teacher to support a Surprise, AZ school district, providing targeted K–2 special education in a classroom setting with IEP goals.

You will collaborate with families and staff, document progress, and ensure compliance with district guidelines while offering inclusive instruction and behavior support.

The role features hybrid in-person and remote options, compensation of $29–$54 per hour, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Arizona Special Education Teaching Credential (or eligibility).
• Minimum one year of experience with elementary students (K–2).
• Knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and accommodations.
• Familiarity with SEIS or similar documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• Implement accommodations and modifications to support learning.
• Develop, manage, and maintain IEPs.
• Monitor progress and maintain documentation.
• Support students with behavioral, social, and academic needs in the classroom.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with special education regulations and district guidelines.
