Job summary

Granite Falls School District is seeking a paraeducator specialized Para serving K-2 classes at Mountain Way Elementary. This 180-day continuing assignment requires Right Response training and completion of the Fundamental Course of Study, with 6.5 hours per day, Monday–Friday.

Wage starts at $24.49/hour without a degree, $24.99/hour with a degree; benefits eligibility determined at hire. Prioritizes proactive, flexible, team-driven candidates who communicate well with staff and students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years post-secondary study or AA degree or higher or ETS ParaPro assessment.
• Satisfactory background clearance; ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Tutors students individually or in small groups; reinforces educational objectives.
• Communicates with teachers regarding student progress and remediation needs.
• Maintains records and assists with grading and scheduling; may supervise tests.
