Evergreen School District seeks a Paraprofessional to join East Evergreen Elementary School in Montana. The role supports the classroom teacher with a variety of duties and reports directly to the Building Principal and Supervising Teacher.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of classroom and instructional practices.
• Knowledge of computer and technology use in educational settings.
• Ability to manage student behavior.

Responsibilities

• Provides interventions, enrichments, or individual instruction.
• Prepares instructional materials and supports lesson delivery.
• Guides learning and maintains student records as directed.
• Performs data analysis as required.
• Assists with crosswalk and recess duties.
• Displays strong public relations skills with students and staff.
• Assists with emergency procedures and drills; directs students if needed.
• Maintains records/charts of student progress.
• Uses classroom tech (computers, smartboards, Chromebooks).
• Supports a safe learning environment.
• Supervises tests and make-up work; supports substitute teachers.
• Participates in training programs; actively supervises during lunch/recess.
