The role involves planning and delivering specially designed instruction, coordinating with service providers, and maintaining compliance documentation to support student growth and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of special education experience.
• Valid TX Special Education Certification and Generalist or Core Academic Subject Area relevant to grades served.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons aligned with individual IEP goals and Specially Designed Instruction.
• Teach subjects to students receiving special education and related services.
• Monitor and track student progress and document outcomes.
• Provide direct and consultative services to students with IEPs in the school.
• Collaborate with related service providers and general education staff on accommodations and modifications.
• Write and maintain IEPs, Prior Written Notices, and evaluation paperwork to comply with state and federal guidelines.
