Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Paraprofessional for Alamosa Elementary K-2 Building (High-Needs School) to support instructional staff and students. You will assist with classroom activities, supervise students, and help implement lesson plans under supervision.

Ideal candidates have an AA degree or equivalent, strong communication, and experience with children; you will maintain confidentiality, support safety, and help with clerical tasks as part of the instructional team.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent is required/preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Experience working with children is required or preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with students, parents and staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom activities and instructional program.
• Supervise students during activities and manage behavior as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with routine clerical duties and maintaining classroom facilities.
