Pocahontas Area Community School District is seeking a Technology Integrationist to lead how technology supports teaching and learning across K–12. Under the Director of Technology, you will blend technical support with instructional design, staff development, and district communications.

You will collaborate with curriculum teams, plan professional development, manage the LMS, and help ensure digital learning aligns with state standards while advancing the district's technology goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed to teach in the State of Iowa.
• Strong communication and human relation skills.
• Effective organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of and skills in troubleshooting technology.
• Effective instructional skills for adults and students.
• A vision of sound technology curriculum and staff development process.
• Ability to co-teach in various content areas supporting technology.
• Knowledge on branding, social media, and website development.
• Valid Iowa Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Frames technology operations around the district mission, vision, and goals.
• Assists planning technology integration within teaching and learning.
• Proposes policies regarding technology issues.
• Sets future directions and plans for technology goals aligned with district goals.
• Provides teachers with strategies to use technology to achieve district goals.

• Supports teachers in using instructional technology resources.
