Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred (education or related field).
• Prior experience with children or in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to maintain continuity of instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, orderly learning environment.
• Supervise students at all times, including during transitions, recess, or lunch as assigned.
• Take attendance and follow all school procedures and policies.
• Adapt instruction as needed to meet the needs of different students and grade levels.
• Communicate clearly with students, staff, and administration.
• Leave detailed notes for the regular teacher regarding student progress, behavior, and completed work.
• Maintain a safe classroom environment and ensure student well-being at all times.
• Support the mission and values of Brave Christian Schools in all interactions.
