Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide continuity of instruction and a safe, Christ-centered learning environment when the regular teacher is absent. You will work from lesson plans, supervise students, and communicate with teachers and administration.

Assignments vary by need, with flexible hours and different grades and subjects. You will model professionalism, maintain confidentiality, and promote a positive classroom climate while supporting routines and school

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow the teacher’s plans and provide instruction aligned with curriculum.
• Maintain student engagement and supervise transitions and activities.
• Record attendance and keep notes on student progress and unfinished work.
• Protect confidentiality of assessments and student records.
• Communicate with the regular teacher and school administration as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and emergency protocols.
