Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Substitute Teacher to support K–12 schools in Charleston, South Carolina. This in-person role provides classroom instruction during school hours with a daily rate of $135-170.

Under direction of the school leader, you will deliver instruction, supervise students, and follow lesson plans. Responsibilities may include grading, supervision, and general classroom support across varying grade levels and subjects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Substitute teaching authorization, if required by state or district.
• Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
• Follows lesson plans and maintains a productive and orderly classroom environment.
• Supports student learning and engagement.
• Assigns tasks and supports various grade levels and subjects as needed.
• Assists with maintaining school protocols and procedures.
• May help with grading and general classroom support as assigned by the school site.
