Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Middle/HS Daily Substitute to enable smooth student learning in the absence of the regular teacher. You will implement prepared lessons and maintain classroom routines.

You will collaborate with school staff, follow district policies, and document daily activities. Travel within or outside state may be required; candidate must meet district substitute requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment toward the job and CSUSA's mission.

Responsibilities

• Teaches the lessons prepared by the absent teacher.
• Reviews with the principal, supervisor or designated teacher the day’s plans and schedule.
• Reports daily activities in writing and provides feedback as requested by the principal.
• Follows all CSUSA policies, rules, and procedures applicable to regular teachers.
• Consults with the principal or supervisor before initiating any unlisted lesson or procedure.
