Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a MS Daily Substitute Teacher to fill in for the regular teacher and keep classrooms running smoothly. You will follow lesson plans and monitor student behavior to ensure continuity of learning.

You will report daily activities in writing and coordinate with the building principal. This role supports CSUSA’s mission to deliver rigorous education and student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and the mission.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and apply feedback.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews daily plans with the principal and designated teacher.
• Teaches the lessons prepared by the absent teacher.
• Reports daily activities in writing and provides feedback as requested by the principal.
• Follows school and CSUSA policies, rules and procedures.
• Consults with the principal before initiating any new lesson or activity not in the plan.
