Job summary

Winchester Public Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to support the SLP in implementing treatment plans, documenting student progress, and collaborating with teachers. You will help collect data, prepare materials, and log sessions across multiple district sites in Winsted, CT.

Ideal candidates hold an associate or bachelor's degree in related fields and have experience with children.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences (preferred).
• Experience with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document student performance and report information to SLP.
• Assist SLP with treatment implementation using the treatment plan developed by SLP.
• Collaborate with teachers and related service staff on a regular ongoing basis.
• Adhere to student IEPs as directed by SLP.
• Support in creating and preparing materials as directed by SLP.
• Log sessions into Relay/Compuclaim.
• Maintain updated data on all goals and objectives addressed in sessions.
