Job summary

Reynoldsburg City Schools is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to identify, assess, and provide specialized intervention for students with communication disorders. The SLP will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals and ensure access to the general education curriculum.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid Ohio licensure as an SLP, and strong assessment and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Ohio Pupil Services License (Speech-Language Pathologist).
  • Valid Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board License.
  • Successful completion of a BCI/FBI background check.
  • Preferred CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
  • Experience in a K-12 public school setting preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to students individually or in groups.
  • Assess and interpret standardized and dynamic assessments for eligibility.
  • Develop measurable IEP goals and determine appropriate service minutes.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
  • Assist with Medicaid billing and maintain service-minute documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to support curriculum access.
